Tarikh - i -Mubarak Shahi • The book begins with an account of the rise of the Kingdom of Ghor in the 12th Century A.D under Sultan Baha - ud -din Sam, the nephew of Sultan Ala- ud -din Jahan Soz . • This was the work of Ahmad Sirhindi , it is an important source of the Sayyid Dynasty during the 15 th Century. • It gives a brief account of the earlier Sultan of Delhi. • It mainly deals with the military and political activities of the Sayyid rulers. Like other sources, it too serves as an important source of information of medieval Indian History . • The Tarikh-i-Mubarakshahi by Yahiya Bin Ahmad Bin Abdullah Sirhindi was written originally into Persian. The present book is a translation of the original Persian work by H. Beveridge . It is regarded as a standard and authoritative translation of the original Persian work.
