MUGERI The Hero of Manjeri Riots             Mugeri  was  the  son  of  Hydross.   In    1849    on    Saturday    August    25   at  the  age  of  15 in  Eranad  Taluk  at  Irumbzi  Desham ,  Mugeri  directly participated in Manjeri  riot.  During the uprising Mugeri killed  Ension  wyse (A  Portuguese  commander  in 43 rd  regiment  of  MN) on 28 A ugust 1849    ( Malabar Manael by  William Logan.)

മാനുഷിക മൂല്യങ്ങൾ തകർത്തെറിയുന്ന മതകീയ കേരളം  കേരളം അത്യപൂർവ്വമായൊരു മത  സ്വാധീനതയിൽ രമിക്കുന്നു എന്നത് നമുക്ക് നിഷേധിക്കാനാവാത്ത വിധം ഒരു പരസ്യമായ രഹസ്യവും, വ്യക്തതയുള്ളൊരു യാഥാർഥ്യവുമാണ്. ചില രാഷ്ട്രീയ കോണുകളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള അനിയന്ത്രിത ഇടപെടലുകൾ മത സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലും മത സങ്കടനകളിലും ഉണ്ടായപ്പോൾ ഒരിക്കലും കരുതിയിരുന്നില്ല അതൊരു വർഗീയ ദ്രൂവീ കരണ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളൊരു ചുവടുവെപ്പാകുമെന്നു. ആദ്യം മത മേലധികാരികളിലും പിന്നീട് മത സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലും തങ്ങളുടേതായ സ്വാധീനം കണ്ടെത്തിയ ഇത്തരം ഒളി അജണ്ടക്കാർ ഇന്ന് അതി തീവ്രമായ മത തത്വങ്ങളിലേക്കു അല്പജ്ഞാനികളായ മത വിശ്വാസികളെ ഹദാകര്ഷിക്കുകയും, എന്നിട്ടു  ആത്മീയ  കച്ചവടങ്ങളിലൂടെ  അത്തരം  ആളുകളിലേക്ക്‌ മത വിഭ്രാന്തിയുടെ ഏണിപ്പടികൾ ചാരിവെക്കുകയും അതിലൂടെ അതി തീവ്ര മതകീയത കടത്തിവിട്ടു ഒരു തരം മത ചാവേറുകളെ നിർമ്മിച്ചെടുത്ത്, ഇതര മത സംഹിതകൾ ഒന്നാകെ ഇകഴ്ത്തി കാണിക്കുകയും മാത്രമല്ല അവയിലെല്ലാം തങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസ പ്രമാണങ്ങളെ ഹനിക്കുന്ന ആശയധാരകളുടെ കേവല പരികല്പനകളാക്കി roopappeduththi anuyaayi വൃന്ദത്തെ ആയുധമെടുപ്പിച്ച് സഹോദര വിശ്വാസിയെ കഴുത്തറിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പ്രവണ
